Retro Fitness of Bay Shore is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. As the face of our gym floor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our members receive the highest quality of service and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym floor, including equipment, surrounding areas, walls, and mirrors.
- Equipment Testing and Maintenance: Test and maintain the efficiency of our equipment, including lubricating and greasing circuit training equipment.
- Stocking and Inventory: Restock products and items as needed, ensuring that our members have access to the resources they need.
- Facility Reporting: Report any facility issues or concerns to management or ownership in a timely and professional manner.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including making eye contact, smiling, and speaking enthusiastically to our members.
- Availability: Work scheduled shifts and arrive on time every shift.
- Uniform and Grooming: Arrive for shifts in full uniform, including a brand-approved shirt, khaki or black athletic pants, and sneakers.
- Communication: Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively with members and staff.
- Certifications: Active CPR/AED certification is preferred.
