At Deborah Heart and Lung Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will provide critical care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Responsibilities
• Conduct diagnostic testing, therapeutics, and monitoring to support patient care
• Participate in the development of patient care plans in conjunction with physicians and other healthcare team members
• Provide education and support to patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Program
• Completed 62 semester hours of college credit, Bachelor's Degree desirable
• New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care
• BLS and ACLS certification required, PALS and Perinatal/Pediatric Specialty desirable
• Strong computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Word
