Staff Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Pharmaceutical Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, provide counseling on health care and prescription medication needs, and maintain confidential information.
- Leadership: Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans, providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
- Communication: Proactively share relevant information and timely updates with appropriate people, listen attentively, and ask questions to ensure understanding.
- Compliance: Comply with policies and procedures, demonstrate ethical performance, and support efforts to enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Licenses and Certifications: Pharmacy license (by job entry date) and completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
