We are currently on the lookout for a Graduate Engineer to join our Curtain Wall division in our Minnesota office. The ideal candidate will possess 0-4 years of experience in Structural Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design aluminum-framed building facades under the guidance of a licensed structural engineer.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, shop drawings, and other construction documents.
- Deliver efficient engineering designs that comply with current building codes and standards.
- Develop critical thinking skills related to unique structural challenges and solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Coursework should emphasize structural design.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Engineering-in-training (EIT) certificate or the ability to obtain it within one year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in aluminum design.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., MathCad, RISA, or STAAD).
- Experience with AutoCAD design software.
