About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Journeyman Plumber to join our facilities operations team at Wichita Public Schools. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment across the district.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in schools across the district
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains and inspecting pipes
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as leaks or water damage, in a timely and effective manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of resources

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Plumbing certification or journeyman license preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing maintenance or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
