Job Summary

Hera QuEst Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapy Professional - Speech Therapist to join our team in Hawaii. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care setting, providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients.

About the Job:

  • Promote recovery and independence of patients with speech disorders through individualized therapy plans.
  • Assess and treat patients with complex communication needs using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies in radiology without supervision by a radiologist.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to promote communication skills.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes using electronic medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or related field preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hawaii.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 per year, based on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
