Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at FLSmidth & Co. A/S. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating frameworks or shells for machinery and mineral processing equipment, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Study and interpret blueprints to understand the requirements of our equipment.
  • Fabrication: Fabricate frameworks or shells for machinery and mineral processing equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Assembly: Organize all required parts and assemble tools and materials, following established procedures.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Quality Control: Verify specifications and complete quality control forms to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4 years' experience in fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Skills: Must have an understanding of basic fabricating and welding techniques, be able to interpret blueprints, and have experience in fitting and tacking carbon steel.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing facility with a moderate noise level. The employee will be exposed to fumes and may be required to wear a respirator at times. The employee will occasionally work at heights using the correct PPE.
