Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. As a Per Diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of specialty areas, including Stepdown/PCU, where you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including those requiring Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Float to other specialty areas as needed, where you will be qualified and able to provide care.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • 2 years of recent experience in a specialty area.
  • AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, and NIH certifications.
  • EPIC experience is required, as no training will be provided.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Unit Specific Information
  • The unit has 12 overflow beds and is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
  • The unit is equipped with Alaris pumps, Roche meters, bedside monitoring, Phillips vents, suction, drains, and chest tubes.
Additional Details
  • Charting system: Epic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
