We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Hospitalist to join our team at Direct Jobs. As a Veterinary Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our emergency and critical care team.
Key Responsibilities- Receive transfers from emergency veterinarians that require hospitalization and provide high-quality care to patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans, maintaining and updating medical records as needed
- Collaborate with our emergency and critical care team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in minor follow-up appointments and low-acuity emergencies
- Internship-trained or at least two years of professional experience as a DVM
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
