Position Overview: Electrical and/or Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Electrical and Instrumentation engineering assistance to tackle plant challenges that impact production efficiency over short durations.

This individual acts as the technical authority responsible for addressing equipment-related issues or repair technique obstacles that influence the operational readiness and maintainability of the facility. Furthermore, they serve as a subject matter expert in equipment malfunctions and repair strategies during root cause analyses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Formulate and execute Maintenance Procedure Use Policy
  • Perform regular technical evaluations and updates of Standard Practice & Operating Procedures
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts to devise work scopes and drive effective solutions
  • Contribute to the Mechanical Integrity Quality Assurance (MIQA) process
  • Assist in Calibration, Installation, and Troubleshooting (CET) activities
  • Oversee Master Data revisions and approvals
  • Coordinate equipment refurbishments, repairs, and external calibrations
  • Support operations and maintenance during unexpected outages
  • Conduct audits and inspections in designated areas
  • Provide troubleshooting and reconfiguration assistance to operations and maintenance teams
  • Review and update Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans
  • Renew service agreements as required
  • Prepare Electrical lockout lists for Operations as necessary
  • Implement recommendations from Process Hazard Analyses (PHA)
  • Support equipment startup, commissioning, and Substation PMs
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is required, preferably in Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field (electrical)
DESIRED CAPABILITIES:
  • Familiarity with SAP for Bill of Materials enhancement
  • Understanding of risk assessment principles
  • Knowledge of Global Maintenance Work Process (GMWP) and reliability networks
  • Proficiency in Reliability Engineering Principles, including statistical analysis and reliability modeling
