The Host Healthcare team is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our travel healthcare team for a 13-week assignment in Colville, Washington. As a Surgical Technician with our organization, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient care and safety.
About the Role:
This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to prepare patients for surgery, maintain a sterile environment, and assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us deliver high-quality patient care while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
- Maintain asepsis and adhere to infection control protocols
- Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during operations
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of necessary supplies and instruments
- Collaborate with the surgical team to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A certificate or degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team

Salary Estimate:
Based on industry standards and the specific requirements of this role, we estimate the salary range to be around $35,000 - 40,000 per 13 weeks, depending on your qualifications and experience. Please note that this is just an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors.
