Job Overview

Tech-24 A Commercial Food Service Repair Company Inc is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance and repair team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect equipment and related components to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Complete service tickets according to company procedures and protocols.
  • Manage inventory and track stock to ensure necessary parts are available for repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Standard computer skills and ability to navigate company software.
  • Industry-standard hand tools and ability to use them effectively.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and crawl in tight spaces.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
  • Universal EPA certification preferred.
