Job Summary

The Manager, Packaging Operations & Supply Chain will be the key person-in-plant supporting CMO-lead finished goods labeling, packaging, and logistics operations management in Philadelphia, PA for a new class of clinical and commercial Gene Therapy products. This position will work closely with the CMO to oversee and direct these specialized operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct oversight and responsibility for managing CMO-lead labeling, packaging, and logistics operations management.
  • Prioritize CMO scheduling label/pack operations, order management, and logistics activities.
  • Ensure the timely execution of CMO compliance of operational activities, including working closely with CMO personnel to develop a deep understanding of capacity, procedures, and related processes.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of patient shipments and track all shipments, triaging any deviations from the plan or procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ yrs Pharmaceutical Packaging Operations and/or Pharmaceutical Packaging Project Management experience.
  • B.A./B.S. required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP or Financial Reporting software such as Oracle or SAP desired.
