We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Intervention Specialist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families.
Responsibilities- Provide in-home counseling services to youth and families, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Manage a small caseload of four to six families, ensuring quality counseling and support.
- Meet with youth and families three times weekly to assess their progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with youth, family members, teachers, and other community stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting the youth.
- Provide after-hours support to youth and families, utilizing a rotating on-call schedule.
- Attend regular team meetings and clinical consultations to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Master's degree in a social services field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology) or a related field.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families, preferably in a clinical or counseling setting.
- Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation.
- Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Ability to maintain an untraditional schedule and work independently.
