Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team within the Mission Networks Sector
  • Provide expert contractual direction and guidance for all phases of the business cycle (pre-proposal, proposal, negotiation, and post-award)
  • Establish and drive implementation of contract policies, processes, and procedures to ensure achievement of segment and corporate goals
  • Provide leadership, oversight, direction, and guidance of compliance awareness with contract and regulatory requirements as well as L3Harris policies and procedures
  • Review proposals to ensure they meet company policy and customer solicitation requirements; determine the applicability of government/international laws and regulations
  • Utilize risk management methodologies to assess and minimize risk to the company
  • Lead team in negotiation preparation and negotiation execution to ensure L3Harris enters strong deals
  • Work closely with government contacts and multi-function corporate representatives
Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain an FAA Public Trust Suitability determination
  • Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of prior related experience, or Graduate Degree with 10 years of prior related experience
  • Expert knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations, licensing, ITAR/EAR, and CAS
  • Broad management and leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring a team of contract professionals
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize contract processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
  • Strong communication with parties within and outside of the organization
