Job Title: Fleet Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Worknet Staffing Services. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with fleet vehicles and heavy equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including lubrication and oil changes
  • Fabricate and weld to repair equipment as necessary
  • Operate vehicles and equipment to aid in diagnostics
  • Clean and maintain the garage area and equipment
  • Inventory, order, and control tools, supplies, and materials for the garage
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associates degree or Tech School certificate preferred
  • 2+ years direct experience as a medium-heavy duty vehicle mechanic
  • Valid driver's license
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site
