We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Senior Air Command and Control Systems Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:As a key member of our engineering team, you will:
- Lead and provide expert guidance to teams delivering technical support and expertise for testing, engineering, and training related to Air Command and Control systems, including CAC2S, CTN, or TBMCS.
- Define, organize, and assign tasks to achieve engineering and testing objectives.
- Offer technical mentorship to both individuals and teams.
- Develop, integrate, and implement solutions for complex technical challenges across various disciplines.
- Prepare, review, and contribute to technical documentation for testing and engineering processes.
- Deliver presentations and briefings as necessary.
- Document technical status, progress, and challenges encountered during testing and engineering activities.
- Engage proactively with clients to identify and resolve intricate technical issues.
- Collaborate with clients to assess technical requirements and testing goals, formulating plans to evaluate these objectives.
- Identify, plan, allocate, and optimize resources to fulfill multiple project-related tasks and objectives.
- Manage and maintain equipment and configurations within testing and engineering laboratories.
- Effectively achieve multiple project goals within established guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five years of experience in systems engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Two years of experience in engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Air Command and Control systems such as CAC2S, CTN, or TBMCS.
- Experience in project management, configuration management, and quality control procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting in Cisco routing and switching.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional.
