Mechanical Engineer II

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our team at Sherman and Reilly Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering fundamentals, including contractual documentation, computer-aided design, and mechanical engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities- Review and submit customer-facing technical documentation
- Lead design reviews throughout the project
- Implement designs in collaboration with department leads
- Work with other engineers to develop technical solutions for moderately complex design problems
- Responsible for the timely completion of tasks and projects
- Four-year bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited school
- Minimum of one year's experience applying fundamental engineering concepts
- Proficient in creating 2D and 3D geometry using SolidWorks
- Familiar with industry standards organizations
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel
- Experience with hydraulics design
- Experience with the design of weldments
- Experience designing heavy equipment for over-the-road use
