Bakery Cake Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Cake Decorator to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating and decorating cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items that exceed our customers' expectations.

• Decorate and Finish Cakes and Pastries: Use your artistic skills to build and finish all specialty bakery goods, ensuring every detail meets our high standards.
• Support Team Members: Provide guidance and support to bakery decorator apprentices and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a Clean and Sanitary Environment: Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Whole Foods Market's cleanliness and safety standards.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing customers' needs in a timely and effective manner.
• Perform Opening, Mid, and Closing Duties: Ensure accuracy of signage and pricing, and perform other duties as assigned.

• 6-12 Months Retail or Restaurant Experience: Minimum of 6-12 months experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
• Bakery Decorator Apprentice Training: Completion of the bakery decorator apprentice training program or equivalent experience.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
