Optum NY Neurologist Job Description

Optum NY is seeking a skilled Neurologist to join our team in Syosset, NY. As a member of our team, you will be part of a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.

We are a Patient Centered Medical Home, providing patient-focused medical care to the entire family. Our team works in local clinics, surgery centers, and urgent care centers, within care models focused on managing risk, higher quality outcomes, and driving change through collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system, including strokes, dementia, seizures, and Parkinson's disease.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Clinical care of Neurology patients.
