Job Title: Deli Bakery Clerk

At Greer's Markets, we're seeking a skilled Deli Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling and merchandising our products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Sell and merchandise products to customers, including deli meats, cheeses, and baked goods
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Process customer transactions and handle cash and credit transactions
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
