We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Physician to join our team as a Female Pelvic Health Specialist. This is a full-time faculty position that will collaborate with our academic and practice-based faculty providers to provide patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary health care to all female pelvic health and reconstructive surgery patients, staying current with new methods and techniques.
- Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of urogynecology.
- Participate in the development of strategy and actionable goals for performance and growth, performance management, and operating planning in conjunction with the Department Chair and Director of Urogynecology.
- Adhere to UTMB's, federal, state, and local regulations, enforcing compliance.
- Participate in research activities and demonstrate leadership skills in achieving improved outcomes for all patients and families.
- Graduate of an approved medical school with completion of an approved residency training program and a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
- Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: FPMRS certified or with intention of being certified in two years.
