Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and interventions for patients with a wide range of neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning in patients with neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral deficits in patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Provide clinical supervision to pre-doctoral psychology interns, postdoctoral psychology fellows, and other mental health trainees or medical residents as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in neuropsychology and related fields.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology from an accredited university or professional school approved by the American Psychological Association.
  • Completion of a predoctoral internship with specialized training in neuropsychology.
  • 2000 hours of formal postdoctoral training program in neuropsychology in medical settings with neurology, neurorehabilitation, and/or neurosurgical services.
  • Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Documented experience dealing with a wide variety of neurosurgical, neurological, psychiatric, and general medical/surgical patients.
  • Documented experience working as a primary member of an interdisciplinary team in a neurorehabilitation setting.
  • Knowledge of social services agencies, state regulations, and APA standards as they relate to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality.
