A medical facility in Illinois is in search of a Gastroenterology Physician to deliver care during a continuing locum tenens engagement. This role presents a lucrative earning potential in a lively area rich with various recreational activities.
Work Schedule:
- Ongoing assignment, with options for 2 weeks per month or full-time commitment
- No on-call duties required
- Average patient load of 15 individuals per day
Practice Environment:
- Combination of inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by an excellent team
- Utilization of EPIC EMR for documentation
Procedural Responsibilities:
- General Gastroenterology services, primarily involving colonoscopy screenings and EGDs. Advanced procedures such as EUS and ERCPs are performed at the main hospital and are not a requirement for this position.
