About the Role

The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for collecting, receiving, and processing inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing. You will communicate with nursing staff regarding patient specimens, refer specimens to outside laboratories, and interact with physicians, clients, and staff regarding referral lab tests. Additionally, you will perform phlebotomy procedures and other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in phlebotomy, laboratory-related field, or related field
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Driver's License
  • Preferred: Phlebotomy certification
