Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiovascular service line on a PRN Days basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced health assessment skills to differentiate normal and abnormal findings.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes and promote continuity of care.
  • Initiate actions to meet patients' and families' needs.
Requirements
  • BSN, Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • MSN, Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program.
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required.
  • APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Required.
  • NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required.
  • 2 (Two) Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • One (One) Years cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery patient experience strongly preferred.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required and maintained quarterly.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support – Within 30 days of hire preferred.

  • Oncology Program is accredited through the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer.
