Mission:

Quantum is in search of a Program Protection Analyst. This role is dedicated to supporting the Office of Chief Engineer (OCE) within the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Program Management Offices throughout the PEO MS with the Program Protection Plan (PPP) process, adhering to established DoD directives and regulations.
  • During the Criticality Analysis (CA) and Critical Function Analysis (CFA) processes, coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) from product offices to deliver essential Program Protection Plan-related documentation, including system architecture diagrams.
  • Review and interpret new Department of the Army (DA) and Department of Defense (DoD) program protection documentation, prepare technical briefings, and manage Critical Function Analysis and Critical Program Information Assessments.
  • Conduct assessments of PEO/MS program information to identify critical components and submit them to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Threat Assessment Center (TAC) for threat evaluations.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of PEO/MS Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) policies and procedures, participating in working groups to exchange best practices and insights across the DoD SCRM network.
  • Support the review and upkeep of the Critical Programs and Technologies (CP&T) list relevant to PEO/MS.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and either a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or willing to relocate.
  • Eligibility for and possession of TS/SCI clearance is required to access the DIA SCRM TAC repository.
  • Required to obtain and maintain access to SIPR and JWICS.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, with at least four years directly related to criticality analysis, program protection, or supply chain risk management.
  • Experience in supporting OCE and Project Offices with Criticality Analysis (CA) and Critical Function Analysis (CFA) for integration into Program Protection Plans based on established priorities.
  • Demonstrated visibility into the supply chain for critical components and the ability to identify potential supply chain risks.

Preferred Skills:

  • While an engineering degree is not mandatory, professional experience with DoD acquisition programs and/or the U.S. Intelligence Community is advantageous.
  • Experience in intelligence, cybersecurity implementation, and/or system security engineering is desirable.
  • This position may require occasional travel, up to 5% of the time.
