About This Opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting. As a Developmental Specialist - Sleepover, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their personal dreams and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess each individual's hopes, dreams, and desires, and provide supports that facilitate achievement.
- Support individuals in developing relationships in their community and with their natural supports.
- Assist individuals in participating fully in their community consistent with their interests.
- Ensure the rights of each individual are protected and promoted at all times.
- Provide support as needed to meet the emotional, physical, and medical needs of each individual.
- Facilitate person-centered, effective, positive relationships with individuals using positive approaches that promote self-determination in all areas of life.
- Provide input and recommendations into assessment and planning processes, and development of the individual's plan.
- Implement the individual's plan fully, within the requirements of the service definition, and document as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Required)
- North Carolina Driver License (Valid) - NC Division of Motor Vehicles
- Developmental and Intellectual Disability Experience
Work Schedule:
Friday (5pm-10pm), Saturday (6am-10pm), & Sunday (6am-5pm)
