Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Irving, Texas.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families. Your duties will include conducting thorough clinical assessments, prioritizing patient needs, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery
  • Create, implement, and evaluate care plans to achieve desired outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices in Labor and Delivery
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, nights
