- Negotiate Settlements and Plea Agreements: Negotiate settlements and plea agreements with opposing counsel to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Advise Clients on Legal Matters: Provide expert advice to clients on legal matters related to medical malpractice, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the process.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide high-quality legal services to clients.
- Manage Caseload and Meet Deadlines: Manage a caseload and meet deadlines to ensure timely and effective representation of clients.
- Juris Doctor Degree: Hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- State Bar Admission: Be admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
- Medical Malpractice Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in medical malpractice defense.
- Strong Knowledge of Medical Malpractice Law: Possess a strong knowledge of medical malpractice law and related regulations.
- Excellent Analytical and Research Skills: Demonstrate excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Effective Communication and Negotiation Skills: Possess effective communication and negotiation skills to work with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Strong Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
