We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc. as a Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting, working closely with patients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of experience in dialysis nursing or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
