Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the hotel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
  • Supervisory experience is not required
