Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suite.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the surgical suite, equipment, and materials for procedures
- Assist surgeons and veterinary staff during surgeries
- Maintain a sterile environment within the surgical suite
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor patients during and after procedures
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
- Assist with post-operative care and monitoring of patients
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1-2 years working in a veterinary surgical setting
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion toward animals and their owners
