Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our Route Sales team. This position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $19.06/hour and requires a commitment of approximately 45-50 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle along designated routes to sell, deliver, and merchandise products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to grocery, mass merchandise, and independent chain stores.
  • Enhance sales volume by building relationships with key decision-makers and understanding customer needs.
  • Communicate product knowledge effectively and engage in suggestive selling.
  • Expand the customer base by soliciting new accounts.
  • Implement promotional programs by arranging product displays and ensuring optimal shelving.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and process customer orders using handheld devices.
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery truck.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Possess a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to pass a job-related assessment with a minimum score of 70%.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Demonstrated stable work history with strong references.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and adaptability to varying work conditions.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent activities include sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 32 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 48 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 40 pounds.
