Key Responsibilities:
1. **Linux Installation and Management**: Proficient in installing and configuring LINUX distributions, specifically CentOS and RHEL.
2. **Performance Troubleshooting**: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving performance issues related to LINUX systems, including storage and connectivity challenges.
3. **Virtual Machine Oversight**: Responsible for the maintenance, construction, and troubleshooting of virtual machines.
4. **Scripting Proficiency**: Skilled in shell scripting to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
5. **System Updates**: Conduct regular system patching utilizing YUM to ensure security and compliance.
6. **Vulnerability Management**: Ability to interpret vulnerability reports and ensure compliance with IAVA and POA&Ms.
7. **Familiarity with Security Tools**: Knowledge of STE tools such as TRELLIS agent, Nessus, ENSL, and UAM for security scanning and monitoring.
8. **Monitoring Systems**: Experience with Nagios for system monitoring and administration.
9. **PKI Management**: Manage PKI server certificates, including renewal and revocation processes.
10. **Ansible Proficiency**: Intermediate knowledge of Ansible for creating and maintaining playbooks and executing ad-hoc commands.
11. **Documentation**: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Confluence.
12. **Version Control**: Intermediate skills in GIT for version control, including check-in/check-out, branching/tagging, and repository creation.
