Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform age-appropriate patient assessments and establish plans of care.
  • Focus on stroke, NPO, and pending discharge patients.
  • Use therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
  • Document all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or other post-baccalaureate degree recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • SLP experience with adult population, acute care hospital-based, inpatient setting.
  • SLP - Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License or SLP-I - Speech Language Pathology Intern Texas Speech Language Pathology Intern License.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
