As a Class C Vehicle Technician, you will operate under the guidance of a Supervisor, Lead Technician, or Class A Mechanic, focusing on minor repairs and preventive maintenance across various types of trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret written and verbal job instructions, documenting findings and repairs accurately.
  • Assist senior mechanics as directed, contributing to team efforts.
  • Execute basic mechanical repairs under supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the workshop and surrounding areas.
  • Gather necessary tools and parts for assigned tasks.
  • Perform other shop duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a CDL within six months of employment.
  • Experience with the responsibilities outlined above, particularly with trucks and trailers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; further technical education is preferred.
  • Possession of basic tools is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using computers for diagnostic equipment and software.

Working Conditions:
  • Work will be conducted in a shop, office, and yard environment, with physical demands including lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Driving company vehicles is a requirement of this role.
