MediPro is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Job Responsibilities- Perform radiologic procedures and exams using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and workflow efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, with a focus on radiology.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, patient positioning, and imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Cerner or other electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of IR, cath lab, and neuro procedures, with a focus on interventional and diagnostic imaging.
- EP experience, including EP studies, diagnostics, and ablations.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts, with flexibility to float to different units as needed.
