Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will have the opportunity to develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and support them in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and medication management
- Support individuals in achieving their developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each participant
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred)
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance (in some positions)
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors
