Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our U.S. Data Security team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure systems that support our growing user base.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet our security and scalability requirements.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Work with our engineering team to identify and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
- Participate in incident response and postmortem activities to improve our overall security posture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, Rust, or Java, with experience in debugging and optimization.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools.
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices, with experience in secure infrastructure design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with containerization platforms such as Kubernetes, with knowledge of orchestration and deployment.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack, with knowledge of configuration management.
- Understanding of web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, or mobile application development.
