About the Opportunity

Locums, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physician to provide high-quality patient care in the Pediatric outpatient clinic/inpatient unit, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Emergency Department at the IHS Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while adhering to the policies and procedures of the Pine Ridge Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in the Pediatric outpatient clinic/inpatient unit, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotations with partnering Pediatrician
  • Meet the requirements for hourly, per diem, and malpractice coverage
Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted state or Federal license
  • Active and unrestricted DEA
  • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certifications
  • Current vaccinations and immunizations
  • 3 Letters of Reference from supervisors and peers
  • Records of 3 years of CME
  • Experience with Native American population preferred
