Drafting Specialist

At Giant Finishing Inc, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team. As a Mechanical Drafter, you will be responsible for updating a vast 2D parts library into 3D Solidworks models and production drawings.

The ideal candidate must have 2+ years of experience working with AutoCAD and Solidworks in educational and workplace settings. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask are essential for this role.

Additional responsibilities include developing a thorough understanding of all equipment manufactured by Giant Finishing, identifying machine deficiencies, and implementing solutions to improve them. Perform ongoing design reviews and have basic mechanical skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.

Please note that experience level is 2 years, and education requires an associate degree. Drafting experience of at least 1 year and mechanical design/manufacturing experience of at least 2 years are required.
