Production Soil Sorter

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a skilled Production Soil Sorter to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for sorting and processing soil in our industrial laundry facility.

• Operate press equipment to ensure efficient and effective soil sorting and processing
• Process laundry in plant-established lot order to maintain high-quality standards
• Maintain production floor distribution to ensure smooth workflow
• Shake, sort, and sequence soil by route and sequence to optimize production
• Classify and lay out items for pressing, including industrial shirts and executive dress shirts
• Separate soil pick-up tickets and check for needed repairs on items
• Lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system and trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick-up
• Load trollies into trailers and ensure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience working with plant equipment/machinery highly desired
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment
