Key Responsibilities- Coordinates and directs nursing care in the operating room, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
- Serves as a resource and mentor to staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Monitors and evaluates nursing care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state RN licensure, or compact licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- CNOR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN, with leadership experience preferred.
