We are seeking interpreters and translators to provide Spanish, French Creole, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese language services to the U.S. Government.

The ideal candidate will possess a working proficiency of a (ILR-2+) level for both English and Target Language, and be able to provide foreign language support services, including transcription, and translation/interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person, onsite interpretation
  • Provide remote telephonic and/or video interpretation
  • Relay important deadlines, instructions, questions, and other communications to staff
  • Assist in communicating any concerns, questions, or other information to staff
  • Provide translation/interpretation services to aid in orienting staff to community resources as requested
  • Translate documents from English into preferred and primary language spoken by eligible recipient and vice versa as requested.
  • Assist staff with building rapport and understanding the cultural context of the populations being served
  • Support special projects and initiatives
