About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal Specialist to join our growing litigation and investigative support practice area. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional, accurate, timely, and reliable paralegal support to assist litigating teams in all phases of litigation.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in litigation paralegal work or FOIA analyst experience, with a strong working knowledge of legal research tools, such as LEXIS NEXIS, Westlaw, and Pacer. They will be responsible for conducting research, locating responsive information, identifying relevant laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles, synthesizing transcripts of hearings and oral arguments for attorney use, and reviewing case material to identify potentially conflicting statements or areas requiring further investigation.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced paralegal to apply their skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to develop high-quality work products with minimal direct supervision other than written guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, accurate, timely, and reliable paralegal support to assist litigating teams in all phases of litigation
  • Conduct research, locate responsive information, identify relevant laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles
  • Synthesize transcripts of hearings and oral arguments for attorney use
  • Review case material to identify potentially conflicting statements or areas requiring further investigation

Requirements

  • Active and maintained Top Secret federal security clearance
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in litigation paralegal work or FOIA analyst experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of legal research tools, such as LEXIS NEXIS, Westlaw, and Pacer
