Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results.
  • Position patients correctly and ensure proper alignment for optimal image quality.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including adjusting parameters and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
