Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Meter Records Management Specialist to join our team at AltaGas. This role involves overseeing the process of meter disconnections and reconnections, coordinating with field teams, and monitoring and reporting on disconnection and reconnection activities. You will also conduct thorough investigations of meter-related issues, analyze data to identify discrepancies or anomalies, and provide detailed reports on investigation findings and recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities as a Meter Records Management Specialist will include:
  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of meter records
  • Regularly updating and maintaining meter data in the system
  • Conducting audits to verify the integrity of meter records
  • Overseeing the process of meter disconnections and reconnections
  • Cordinating with field teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatching
  • Monitoring and reporting on disconnection and reconnection activities
  • Investigating suspected cases of gas theft
  • Collaborating with security and legal teams to address and resolve theft incidents
  • Implementing measures to prevent future occurrences of gas theft
  • Developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for meter management
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Providing training and support to staff on meter management procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, minimum 5 years of analytical experience in a business environment, and experience working with business information systems, including SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle, or similar. You should also have demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, identify relevant issues, and effectively communicate complex messages to diverse audiences. A proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, is essential.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $93,500 to $126,750 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
