Veritable Vegetable is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the productivity and safety of all swing warehouse staff members, while also meeting swing shift warehouse goals in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in an organic produce distribution warehouse, demonstrating a high level of competence in all aspects of WH function. They will be familiar with proper storage requirements and sensitivities of fresh fruits and vegetables, and be highly organized and able to lead others in accomplishing work activities.
The Warehouse Team Lead will be responsible for assessing, planning, and prioritizing daily warehouse work, organizing and monitoring paper flow throughout the shift, and directing and motivating warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of work. They will also coordinate with IC, Trucking, and WH Supervisors to ensure appropriate allocation of warehouse staff to receiving, order pulling, order checking, and truck loading.
The successful candidate will be certified and proficient on all material handling equipment, able to communicate effectively and work closely with staff members in other departments, and have the capacity and desire for engagement in the physical work of Warehouse operations.
Wage Range: $23 - $28 per hour, depending on experience (PLUS Benefits)
