Job Summary:

CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a Full Time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Heart and Vascular Center. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, manage routine use and quality control requirements of angiography equipment, and adhere to established radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Manage routine use and quality control requirements of angiography equipment
Adhere to established radiation safety protocols for all personnel inside the procedure room
Assess patient relative to requested procedure by collecting pertinent data about the patient and procedure
Assist in patient education related to procedure
Prepare the patient for the procedure, administer contrast, and perform exams under the supervision and direction of the IR physician
Manage and assist the physician with specialized equipment used for diagnostic or interventional purposes and emergent situations

Requirements:

Graduation from a School of Radiological Technology
Member of the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Board of Examiners
Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist
Preferred 1 year experience as a Radiological Technologist
